• Question: Did you like school and science when you were younger?

      Yes and no!

      I guess I would rather have been driving a race car or scuba diving or water skiing or something rather than sitting in Ms Groenewald’s lessons – but …

      Really, school is super important: knowledge is our ‘fire against the darkness’ and we need to suck it in!

      As for science – it’s the most important subject of all – the ‘scientific method’ is perhaps the most important human invention ever: the only genuine and working truth detector….

      So yes, I liked school and I love science!

      Yes, I even insisted to go to school when I was feeling unwell! Staying home would have been so boring .
      And yes I like science when I was younger. Though I found the spelling in biology a bit difficult.

      I definitely liked science, school not so much. I had to remind myself that it was only for a few years and passing my exams would be going on to better things, like university and living in London.

      Science always interested me, my Dad studied physics. I was always getting to build stuff too.
