Hi Bee.B – great question – I hate it when people say ‘oh I just can’t do physics’, usually that is just because they have not learned something you clearly already know: you only lose when you stop trying. The secret to success in physics is to keep trying – and I don’t mean just rereading the same complicated sentence until it sinks in, I mean find someone else’s explanation in another book, or on youtube, or chat to your teacher, or chat with another friend who seems to have ‘got it’. Physics is hard, but is made much harder by how hard it often is to communicate sometimes simple concepts – I mean we can’t even describe the colour blue to a colour-blind person, how will we explain why light has a speed limit! So in short, find a good teacher or writer or even better, many of them!
