First step is to have an interest in how things work…

Then helpful steps are (not necessarily all, just a couple)
      – learn to fix some things, like plumbing, or cars, or bicycles…
      – learn to program computers
      – read about science – and famous scientists and engineers – ask a librarian or your teacher to make a reading list
      – try to meet engineers and chat to them
      – go to museums with technology in them – there are loads
      – get a chemistry kit
      – look at youtube vids of cool inventions, cool chemical reactions, cool machines – there are tutorials how to make an electric motor from a battery and wire – there are loads of ‘how is it made’ videos too

I could go on, but you don’t pay me enough 😉 send me a cheque for more (ps I’m kidding!!)
